For those vacant land buyers who want to be off grid, with privacy, plenty of elbow room, a higher elevation (nearly 4,000 ft) and rolling hills, this new listing of vacant land for $59,700, located on Outlaw Canyon Road in the Cedar Hills subdivision is definitely worth a visit. With over 40 acres of land, one can see rolling hills, mountains as well as I40 way in the distance. Zoned agricultural means cattle and horse friendly.
What is interesting about this parcel in Cedar Hills is one can ride by an old recreated western town. Cedar Hills is a vast area located both north and south of I40 in Mohave County. One can see part of this town in the above photo.
And what is even more interesting is driving the main road, Hackberry, that provides access to the cross road for this parcel. Hackberry Road is a county-maintained road and connects Route 66 to I40 via a frontage road. The road then continues south to eventually connect to Hwy 93 south to Wikieup, Wickenburg and Maricopa County.
I drove this road on my return from placing a For Sale sign on this property. Often some real estate agents who sell vacant land do not invest the time to place physical signs on the property. This failure may have the buyer looking at the incorrect parcel.
In driving Hackberry Road, I was able to see a couple herds of grazing cattle and open pastures. With mountains on both sides, my brain started visualizing how early settlers might have lived here. This area evoked a sense of calm and peace. For a short time, the outside world was a faraway place.
Yes driving the dirt roads here in Mohave County AZ one can always find something of interest.
P.S. Please consider checking out my Facebook business page, The Grit and Gratitude Agent that will focus on the Dirt Roads in Mohave County as well local real estate, lots of dirt or vacant land parcels as some of the local attractions.
