Friday Flags:  Flying in Front of a Fast-Food Stop in Watertown CT

A reality of owning cars is an occasional stop to get it serviced. I was waiting for the oil to be changed and across the road the flag was calling to me.

I didn't have a good angle, but as I was waiting for the oil to drip, I had time.

The wind was somewhat cooperating and while it may not have been 100% it was still a pretty sight.

Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 good morning, Ed... hopefully you've recovered from the disappointment of the UConn loss. There's always next year. Here in Charlotte the car dealerships all fly the biggest flags you might see in the area. I love it.

Good morning Ed. Goes to show you, that regardless of location, when the flag is unfurled in the wind it is a beautiful sight. Maybe the is why the wind cooperates with you most of the time. Enjoy your day.

I don't wait for the oil to drip, but I have seen McDonald's when I am charging up, and more often than not, there is a flag flying proudly for me to see as well, haha.

I am sitting in a dealership waiting for my wife's car to be serviced and can see every lamppost surrounded with flags.

Ed, great photo in front of McD's.   I thought of you yesterday when I went to the bank, the wind was blowing strong, and they have a flag out front.  Should have taken a photo.

Hi Ed- I find myself trying to capture photos or videos of our flag thanks to you and Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho!!! I'm sure now that golfing season is in full swing, we'll have more photos of the flag from the greens.
