Logic vs Emotion Battle is between what you know… and what you feel

The Hardest Battle You’ll Ever Fight

Your worst battle is between what you know… and what you feel.

It doesn’t happen out loud.
There’s no audience.
No one sees it.

But it’s one of the most important battles you’ll ever face.

It shows up in quiet moments—
when you’re lying awake at night…
when you’re staring at a decision…
when something deep inside you just doesn’t feel settled.

Because part of you already knows the answer.

You know what’s right.
You know what makes sense.
You know what you should do.

And yet… Logic and emotions collide.

Why This Battle Matters

This is where your life begins to change.  Not when things are easy.
Not when everything lines up perfectly.  But right here—
in the middle of uncertainty.

Because every time you choose what you know is right…
over what feels safe or familiar… you grow.  You become stronger, clearer,
More aligned with the life you’re meant to live.

The Truth About Feelings

Feelings aren’t wrong.

They matter.
They tell stories.
They reveal what you’ve been through.

But they are not always truth.

Sometimes they are:

  • Old fears replaying themselves
  • Past hurts trying to protect you
  • Comfort zones disguised as “intuition”

And if you don’t pause to recognize that…
they can quietly hold you back.

Finding the Balance

The goal isn’t to ignore your feelings. It’s to understand them—
without letting them control you.

Ask yourself:

👉 Is this feeling guiding me forward… or keeping me stuck?

That one question can change everything.

Because when you learn the answer to that question, the battle begins to shift.

Where Strength Is Built

Strength isn’t loud.

It’s found in the moments no one sees—
when you choose growth over comfort
clarity over confusion
truth over temporary relief

That’s where real change happens. That’s where your future begins.

Your worst battle may be between what you know and what you feel… But your greatest power is in deciding which one leads.

Rain Silverhawk what is scary is when people know longer consider what is right and wrong but instead consider what makes them the most money.

Hi Rain,

I agree that some decisions are meant to be grounded in logic, especially in business, where clarity, data, and experience matter. But when it comes to matters of the heart, it is rarely that simple.

When I met my husband, nothing about it made logical sense. He was divorced with five children, I was single with no children, and there was a 20-year age difference. If I had made that decision purely on logic, I would have walked away and missed the love of my life.

My heart said yes.

We had 28 years together, and even though he has passed, I would not trade a single moment, not even the hard ones. That experience taught me that feelings are not always something to override. Sometimes they are pointing us exactly where we are meant to go.

To me, the real strength is not choosing logic over emotion or emotion over logic. It is knowing when to listen to each.

Life is not lived on paper. It is lived in moments, relationships, and choices that do not always make perfect sense, but somehow turn out exactly as they should.
