Good morning Cassandra. I remember the days of placing a home under contract with a contingency of gettin mortgage approval within 30 to 45 days. That morphed into the prequalified era until some would provide a pre qualification letter with no evidence of the buyer's ability to qualify. So pre=approval came into play. No confusion about what they can qualify for. Saves time and aggravation. Enjoy your day.
