YEP...there he was this morning...like the ghost of Taxes Past! I woke up and there he was front and center!
Once again Uncle Sam was pointing a finger at me and then rolled his hand over and slowly curled it while looking me in the eyes and sending telepathic thoughts to me that sounded something like.... "Mr. Mike....you made too much money last year and need to give some of that dough to your favorite federal government."
And then like magic...from behind him, out jutted another hand from a State rep saying something like "we want some, too... gimmee ... gimmee!"
Now...I am fair guy and absolutely understand and respect the need for some method to support (most) government entities! 
But this year stung a bit more and to be honest...it hurts! Mentally!
No...not financially so much...but most any and all allowed tax deductions went away for our family as we no longer have any debt of any kind...either as a company or a family...or dependents...but dang...at tax time...even though I track everything and go long form and take any legal deductions I can take and verify if needed and have a storefront in St Paul, NE...it still hurts!
So here I am at Kitts Coffee and whining to all of you that face the same issues!
I learned many years ago (THE HARD WAY) to put money away or pay quarterly so the money was there to send to Uncle Sam and his nephew State of Nebraska!
So the returns were filed online and the checks are "in the mail"!
