Denver Sports Fans Excited!

Denver is definitely a Sports Town, and this time of year is always exciting!

The Nuggets ended up 3rd in the Western Conference NBA, and will begin the playoffs on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are the 6th-seeded.   The Nuggets have enjoyed a 12-game winning streak going into the postseason.

Our Avalanche (NHL) will begin their playoffs on Saturday, 4/19, against the Los Angeles Kings.  They clinched the top spot in the Central Division and will hold home-ice advantage for this series.

Excitement is growing in Denver!

Good morning Joan Cox, Retired Broker/Owner I don't really watch sports, I play them, lol. I have never watched a hockey game, one of this days I may. Do you attend any of the games in Denver?

Good morning, Joan... Denver is certainly quite the sports town. Our grandson, Spencer, just returned from Las Vegas to watch the Denver U hockey team with the championship. We have many Denver U graduates in the family.

Congratulations to the Denver teams. The Boston Celtics finished #1 in the Eastern Conference and the Boston Bruins secured teh first Wild Card spot in the Atlantic Division.

I think the Avs have a real chance. The Nuggets will have a tougher time, but you never know.

Hi Joan Cox, Retired Broker/Owner. I know the Denver Nuggets will go far into the playoffs, and maybe Conference Finals. I just glad San Antonio will not be playing them in the first round, as I would like to see us make it into the second round this year or even further.
