Aurora's (CO) Pools and Swim Beach Open for the Season

Ready for a day at the beach without leaving Aurora?   The swim beach at Aurora Reservoir opens for the season Saturday, May 23rd for the Memorial Day weekend.  Kayak and SUP rentals will also resume Memorial Day weekend.

Take a dip and beat the heat at Aurora's six outdoor pools and two spraygrounds this summer.  The spraygrounds at Great Plains Park - 20100 E. Jewell Ave., and Redtailed Hawk Park - 23701 E. Hinsdale Way will open for the season Memorial Day weekend and operate daily from 11 am to 7 pm.  Outdoor pools will open for the season Monday, June 1st.

Great local update. Amenities like this are a big part of what makes a community enjoyable, especially heading into summer. Easy access to outdoor recreation always adds to an area’s appeal for both residents and buyers.

Good morning, Joan... same here... lots of community pools will open in time for Memorial Day weekend, but we also have some that will open sooner.

Nina Hollander, Broker we could have had pools open in February and March when our temps saw 80's and 90.   Now, it is more normal temps.  Right now it is 58 degrees.
