April 22nd is Earth Day. What started out as a local community eco-awareness event back in 1970 has grown into a globally celebrated experience. Ventura Village Earth Day Cleanup 2026 brings attention to the environment in its own way on Saturday, April 25th.

Ventura Village Earth Day Cleanup 2026
Ventura Harbor Village hosts their annual Earth Day Cleanup event on Saturday, April 25th. If you wish to participate, simply stop by the Village's Visitor Center between 1 pm and 4 pm. Gloves and buckets will be made available as supplies last. So if you come a little later, you might want to bring some from home. Make sure you wear sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable closed-toe shoes for safety.
The first 75 volunteers who turn in a full bucket receive a coupon for a free kids scoop of ice cream. Hydration is important. So make sure you bring a reusable water bottle with you. You will receive a free Ventura Harbor sticker to place on it. There are also plenty of hydration stations around the village that allow you to refill your water bottle as much as you need. Also, feel free to enter the Seaside Vacay Giveaway when you visit the Visitor Center. While there, learn more about the Channel Islands National Park's conservation efforts and how you can help.
As long as you are already at the Village, you may as well stop by the Promenade Stage to listen to live music courtesy of Karen Eden & Friends. They play throughout the entire cleanup. And did you know that most of the restaurants in Ventura Harbor Village use locally-sourced as well as wild-caught seafood for their dishes? When you get hungry after your cleanup, visit one of them to energize yourself.
