I doubt that there was ever a child who did not stack up a few (or many) blocks during a play time. Reflecting back as far as I can remember, and frankly the only thing I remember about kindergarten, was the very large building blocks they had. As far as my "home" experience with blocks I remember ours looking like these:
Evidently children of all ages still like to play with blocks.
Building blocks are essential in career development. I think about my own career in Real Estate and all the blocks I put together to build my own business and Brokerage. Kindergarten helped with the "block" of playing well with others. Every year in education helped in one dimension or another. Every job prior to becoming a Real Estate professional helped my Real Estate career and the of course there is/was all the RE courses I took over the years.
Today I am still adding building blocks to my life. These days my focus is finding ways to improve life for others. I know that what ever I build during my life it will only be temporal and sometime after my life it will all be forgotten. But so what! I am focused on the everlasting and that will be eternal.
