When looking for an Airbnb, I probably don't do as much research, as I usually am not staying very long. This stay was for two weeks, and I probably should have made sure to read the reviews. I am staying in the walk-out basement, which has been converted to a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, laundry, and a nice bathroom and living room.
The owners live on the top two floors, but they obviously have hardwood flooring, and OH MY is it loud. Usually, I can hear them moving about around 6 am, and it doesn't stop until 10 pm. Last night, it was 11 and midnight with LOTS of noise.
Of all nights to keep me awake, my going-away party is tonight, and I am exhausted. Funny, in my instructions, it said - quiet time was after 9 pm and before 8 am. Thinking I will put that on my exit review.
Also, when I picked up the rental car (BTW, haven't had any hail...) I had ordered a small sedan, as I don't need anything fancy to get around. They upgraded me to a Mercedes. Haven't ever driven a Mercedes, and almost everything is backwards from the Lexus, which I have driven for years. Rather fun though! Just didn't come with a snow brush, and imagine - I threw mine away! LOL
