Love The Skin You’re In: Summer Skin Care Event - Free

Friday, May 15th from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Oasis 

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month.  To celebrate, join us for a fabulous afternoon of pampering and style, courtesy of our friends at Macy’s! Enjoy a relaxing hand massage, a refreshing mini-facial, and get inspired by the hottest summer clothing styles of the season—light refreshments. Register here.

The mission of Washington Metro Oasis (located in Macy’s Home Store, 2nd floor, 7125 Democracy Blvd, Bethesda) is to offer a unique mix of lifelong learning, social, health, and volunteer programs. A timely post Roy as the warmer weather encourages us all to spend more time outdoors.  Skin protection from the sun's rays is so important.  Our skin needs pampering as your post points out.

Good morning, Roy... skin cancer is so prevalent these days. People just ignore the need for heavy duty sunscreen. I'm always being asked how I keep my skin so nice in my late 70's and I tell them I've been "bathing" in sunscreen since my late 20's and I haven't sat in the sun even with sunscreen since my 40's. Sun damage is very hard to repair.
