Willis TX Happenings May 2026
Several things are happening this month in Willis, TX.
Starting on May 13, 2026 at 5:30 PM there will be a City of Willis Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting. If you want to know what is going on in the community, and how things are being handled, I highly recommend you attend this meeting. This affects property in what you can and can’t do with it. It is important to attend these meetings so you can have input within your community and let your voices be heard.
On May 14th there is a Zoning Board of Adjustment Training. This event is open to the public. See the details below:
Here is some information from the Mayor’s Office. The Willis TX Mayor has been doing a great job at keeping the community updated on different things going on within the City. Here are some things that have taken place lately.
This next event is not happening until June, but the City is wanting to get the word out early. This is going to be a fun event the whole family can enjoy. It is their Juneteenth Celebration. Here are the details for it.
Willis, Texas is a growing community located between Conroe and Huntsville. This community has been known for it’s lake access, close proximity to the Sam Houston National Forest, Cutesy Downtown shops and just the peace and quiet of country living. Our little town is starting to grow with everyone wanting to move out of the Houston city limits. We are still a friendly little small town, but getting all of the benefits of the larger cities. It is a great place to call home!
