Good morning, Dorie... I get reminded of just how old I am when I realize I've been alive for so many events and actually remember them.

Good morning Dorie. Caught all but two, 2008 and 1875. 1875 was before my time but she may question that. Enjoy your day.

My thoughts were along the same lines as Nina Hollander, Broker  when I saw the list, with exception, of course for the Kentucky Derby

WoW...was it really 22 years ago in Massachusetts that we finally gave gay people the right to get married...and be as unhappy as anyone else.

Hmm, I see quite a few things in the list that I didn't appreciate much, but it's cool to see that the first space station came about in the year that I was born, haha.  It seems like soon we will be traveling to space in the same manner that we travel to another state, haha.

Hello Dorie - I am a longtime Seinfeld fan.  Admittedly, I didn't appreciate the finale when it first aired but time has seemed to provide more relevance.   Ah, perspective. . .

I know it was extremely popular Dorie, but to this day I’ve never watched a single episode of Sex and the City.

Dorie as much watched as "Sex and the City" was, I did not care for the show.

Hi Dorie- I'm amazed that the Kentucky Derby is that old!!!  I've never been but I enjoy watching it on television.

Dorie:

That's quite a mix of events over the years, most of which I remember...and with most occurring in my lifetime as is true of others here.

I just love these facts.

I remember when Mount St. Helens exploded.  I lived in Billings, MT, and was 10, I think.  We had to wear bandanas for a long time, anytime we were outside.  I couldn't believe the ash reached that far!
