Best Wishes to Our Moms!!!

Hard to believe that Mothers' Day is upon us.  I read today that 75% of children prefer to TEXT Mom instead of calling her!!!  I am pretty certain that nearly 100% of Moms prefer (in order) a) SEEING YOU, b) receiveing a thoughful gift/memory, c) receiving a CALL!!!

My mom (in Heaven) definielty would not appreciate a text....I realize that many of utilize text as a prefered method of communication, but c'mon...Moms desercve more!!

One of my staff members spent hours putting together a virtual card that listed many of his great memories that were spent with his Mom. Apparently, she had tears in her eyes while reading it - especially since he and his mom have had some struggles with each other lately.

So, put the phones down...visit Mom if practical or at least have a form of personal contact with her ..she deserves it!!!  Happy Mothers' Day.

Hi Paddy- My mother is in heaven but I know she would not have appreciated a Happy Mother's Day text from me!!!  I love that with Facetime and Zoom, it's easier to "see" our loved ones if we can't be there in person.

It is true, texts are now probably the largest part of our communication~  in general.

And sometimes we live too far away from each other for a visit. The video call is another great way to stay ''better'' connected:)

Good morning Paddy. Must say my Mom passed before the technology explosion but a text or Zoom call would never have cut it. A personal visit was all that counted. Times they have changed but my son was here on Sunday to celebrate with Mom. Enjoy your day.
