A lot of people choose a brokerage because they trust the people behind the sign. They value local leadership, accessibility, communication, and relationships within the community. So when large national companies suddenly merge or change ownership, some consumers naturally start wondering what that means for the company they originally chose.
What stands out to me is that some of the same companies that once promoted a more virtual and growth-focused model are now recognizing the value of local offices, community presence, and established relationships. That shift says a lot about what buyers and sellers still value.
