Gaithersburg Memorial Day Closures & Recycling Changes
City offices and most facilities in Gaithersburg will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026.
Recycling that would normally be collected that day will instead be picked up on Saturday, May 23. Bulk pickup will not be available that week.
The Mayor and City Council will not meet on May 25.
A Memorial Day Observance is planned for Saturday, May 30, along with the Flags for Our Heroes display.
