Located just west of The Villages, Florida is Brown’s Country Store on 301. It is worth the trip to stock up on local fruit and vegetables to name a few things. There is so much more local farm fresh eggs, all types of local baked goods, local honey, fresh boiled peanuts, and my favorite Amish Pickles, Jams, Meat and Cheeses. Being a Pennsylvania guy, they also stock three types of Lebanon Bologna, don’t know about it, must not be from that part of the country!
Deep roots for Brown and Brown Farms dating back to 1915 when their car broke down in Oxford, Florida site of today’s Brown Adventure Farm. They are so much more than just a country store; they host Junk in The Trunk the first Saturday of every month. They have big plans for July 4th, Tribute Band Concerts, You Pick Strawberries and other activities at the farm.
