Looking For A Few Good Participants

Over the past few months, I have been feverishly working on creating a new designation for our industry! The Historic Property Specialist will be a wonderful way to differentiate yourself in the real estate world. Whether or not you have ever sold or helped a client buy a historic home or building, this designation will help you create an avenue for a niche market. And you, my Active Rain friends, are the first to hear about this!

I have hammered out the Six Pillars, or courses that include:

Pillar I: Historic Property Overview + Architectural Literacy

Pillar II: Preservation Stewardship & Regulatory Awareness

Pillar III: Valuation, Market Positioning, Client Advising

Pillar IV: Restoration Basics & Resource Navigating

Pillar V: Story Driven Marketing & Heritage Branding

Pillar VI: Legacy Leadership & Community Influence

CAPSTONE PROJECT: Historic property project (either a professional slide presentation or video)

Understanding the nuances and differences in historic properties is essential if you are working with clients who desire to sell or purchase these structures. Being able to nail those clients by investing in an extremely specialized designation, I believe, will help create an entirely new income stream.

Almost every city in this country has historic structures. These beautiful buildings hold value and heritage in our communities. This designation will give those agents who desire to pursue it some leverage in an ever-competitive marketplace.

What I need from my Active Rain friends is a few of you who would like to be in the Founding Cohort Ambassadors. This will be a small group who would like to participate as the first group to go through the program. Details are being worked out now, but the plan is to offer this training via Zoom for those who are not in my area.
