Time for Reflection

Memorial Day really is a time for reflection and gratitude. Events like this help keep the meaning of the holiday centered on honoring those who served and sacrificed for our country. I always appreciate communities that continue traditions like cemetery flag placement, commemorative marches, and veteran recognition because they remind younger generations why the day matters. Thank you for sharing the Georgetown schedule and helping keep those memories and traditions alive.

So many wars and so many lives lost way too early.  It seems that wars have always been around and will always be part of the world.
