No one will care for you more or better than yourself. After all, you know what you need and when, and see to it without fanfare. Examine however, where you rely or go outside of yourself. For example, a mani or pedi, while it can be done by you, remains a perk to the many and why not? Some people have food prep or shopping done by others, include car repairs, some house-hold projects and so much more
OUTSOURCING
Self-care can be both, but with this subject I am going to bring up, please pause & take a moment to examine. It is important & personal & should be treated as such. I am speaking of your spirit, the you within that shell of a body, the one God created for His purposes, that requires attention like anything else even more so
YOUR SOUL
Many of you leave the welfare of yourself and your soul to others and I want to caution you otherwise. You see, when you seek religion, go to church, temple synagogue or parish, the atmosphere as well as the suggestion is to surrender and that is partially true. Let go unto God, but do not surrender to the representative
WORSHIP
Our hearts are continuously yearning & speaking (called heartspeak), unto God non-stop and HE hears this constantly even while you sleep. Your will must join His and we trust for that connection to happen. If you become lax or lazy, it won't. Use religion, places of worship, the bible, songs, stain-glass windows, candles, organ music & all the rest to find HIM and not a substitute for Him. The soul says this
I WILL ACCOUNT
There is absolutely no way a person can outsource their own soul, and neither should they try and no one should ask such a thing. It is summed up nicely with this quote from the movie KINGDOM of HEAVEN where King & subject are talking
SOUL QUOTE:
"Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone. Even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that 'virtue was not convenient at the time.' This will not suffice. Remember that".
"Into your hands I commend my soul" is another fine remember of the concept that your soul is yours and yours alone, not a group or outside sources & as such, must answer to the Lord, the lover of your soul, & it will. Here's a better question
WHAT WILL YOUR SOUL SAY
The soul is a container and as such, cannot be empty thus it's yearning for righteousness, goodness, justice which are all filling in for God here on earth. God wants back that contents as He filled it originally. He wants to see what you filled it with, which makes perfect sense if you just pause & consider what is written-said
THIS CONTAINER MUST BE FILLED
Even if you fill your soul with sand, meaninglessness, worthless items of substance, it will contain them, cause it to feel full & fed, but it is not nourished just by being filled up NO! It wants God, yearns for Him, & nothing less will do for closure. That day will be visiting with us all soon. The things that stay here are food for the worms, but the soul goes on, homeward bound. Are you going to accompany it?
FEED THE BODY
This we know and there is a whole system designed just for that purpose too. Jesus was reminded, one day by a man who practiced the Law that he should watch what he eats for purification purposes. Jesus responded, it is not what goes in and then eventually comes out that we should take note, but what comes out your mouth, making the point to cleanse the inner parts so that more God can visit, the soul be fed, & together, creation & Creator bond & rejoice, united again
THIS IS NOT A BIBLE LESSON
This is a profound statement to make by anybody, but the fact that Jesus said it makes it have potency & credibility, a sort of take note of this flavor coming from someone who cares for you. I would listen up to this TRUTH & let it set you free
THE INNER SELF
Is likened to a temple & models nicely after the worship center of the ancient Hebrews. You had an outer court, an inner court and then the center or holy of holies where God & the spirit of man reside. Body, mind & spirit symbolize this within us. I shared all this s that those that read it, can never say, I did not know
