Like other licensed professionals, who are self-employed, professional real estate agents are taking care of business, working overtime even on a holiday weekend. Phone calls to texts to emails are answered. Paperwork is processed. Customer relationship management systems are updated. The list goes on and on.
Yes, real estate agents do attempt to make time for family and friends. However, clients feel their residential listing, their vacant land property under contract or their desire to buy real property takes precedence.
Additionally, for some, the weekends are a time to catch up on paperwork and other related real estate transaction activities. Believe it or not I have had some buyers make offers on holiday weekends because this is a time for them to visit residential properties to vacant land parcels or just drive around getting a “feel” for the area.
P.S. Being a professional real estate agent is a full time self-employed small business owner and working over time happens though without time and a half or double time.
P.S. Please consider checking out my Facebook business page, The Grit and Gratitude Agent that will focus on the Dirt Roads in Mohave County as well local real estate, lots of dirt or vacant land parcels as some of the local attractions.
