Kyle "Rowdy" Busch 1985 - 2026
Kyle Busch is one of NASCAR's most driven, accomplished and versatile drivers. He debuted as a teenager in the early 2000s, earned Cup Series Rookie of the Year in 2005 with Hendrick Motorsports, and later became a longtime star for Joe Gibbs Racing.
He won three national series championships: the 2009 Xfinity Series title, and Cup Series titles in 2015 (in a dramatic comeback after a leg injury) and 2019. Busch holds all-time records with 102 Xfinity wins, 69 Truck Series wins, and a combined 234 national series victories. He also earned 63 Cup wins, making him one of the winningest drivers in NASCAR history.
He became the first driver to win races in all three national series in the same weekend, twice at Bristol (2010 and 2017). His career highlights include victories in major races like the Southern 500, Brickyard 400, and Coca-Cola 600.
Busch's incredible talent, consistency, and dominance across NASCAR's top divisions have solidified his legacy as one of the greatest drivers of all time. Most noteworthy, Kyle was a committed husband and father, he and Samantha created and contributed to charities that spoke to their hearts.
His #8 will be retired until Brexton, his 11-year old son will be old enough to make the rounds on the tracks. What an amazing gesture!
