JUNE CHALLENGE—ASK NOT WHAT AR SUPPORT CAN DO FOR YOU, BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR ACTIVE RAIN?

Be the Difference. What Can YOU Do to Strengthen ActiveRain? Let’s talk about building the ActiveRain we all want to be a part of.

One of the things I've always appreciated most about ActiveRain is that it has never been just about the blogging.

It's about the people.

The friendships we've built. The ideas we've shared. The support we've offered one another through changing markets, changing technology and changing seasons of life.

This month's challenge is an opportunity to think about the role each of us plays in keeping that spirit alive. Lew Corcoran  and I are partnering up to host for the month. THANK YOU, LEW! Here’s what it’s all about…

As AI, automation and new technologies continue to reshape our businesses, one thing remains constant: people still learn from people. They connect with authenticity, generosity and shared experiences.

So Lew and I would like to ask a simple question: What can you do to help make ActiveRain even stronger?

Maybe it's encouraging new members.

Maybe it's sharing knowledge more freely.

Maybe it's becoming more intentional about commenting, teaching, mentoring or building relationships.

Whatever your answer, we’d love to hear it.

Tell us about your vision for the future of ActiveRain and the values that matter most to you. What would you like to see more of? What can you personally contribute? How can we continue creating an environment where members feel welcomed, supported and inspired?

The future of this community isn't created by software updates or new features alone. It's shaped every day by the people who choose to show up and participate.

Let's talk about how we can each be part of that future.

Criteria

  1. Share your vision for AR's future rooted in three or four pillars.
  2. Share what you consider is a positive impact on your readers.
  3. How can you improve your blogging techniques to keep people engaged?
  4. How will you create aliveness and good energy leaving no one out in the cold?

Write one post that strives to achieve excellence between Day 1 through the end of the month with at minimum 300 words that can be implemented to your Vision for the Future of ActiveRain. Be sure to share the link below. Remember, your post needs to address the theme!

Thank you for being part of what makes this community special. I look forward to reading your ideas and seeing where they take us.

Challenge Reward: 1,500 points will be awarded to qualifying participants. Points will be issued during the month of July to all writers who meet the above criteria in their posts.

A HUGE thank you to Patricia Feager for her idea for this month’s post. Patricia had a very important work commitment that she has to do this month. So, I will be filling in for her, working with Lew. I know she’ll likely still be reading and appreciating your participation in this month’s challenge.

Debe, really solid idea for a monthly challenge!  I think the challenge for me continues to be answering the question, how much time should I be spending in the Rain and what should I be doing with that time when I'm here?  At a minimum, I still plan to keep doing the Tuesday Ask An Ambassador posts and hoping I can provide some nugget that proves useful to someone.
