Honoring All Heroes on D-Day

A wonderful reminder of all those who bravely stepped up for each of us.

It is an important day in our history and sadly I feel there are many unaware and not even being taught about it. So important to honor out heroes and remember the celebrated seaborne operation on June 6, 1944, launching the campaign to liberate Nazi-occupied Europe. It took cooperation and was an amazing feat!

Hi Wanda... a very important day in history. Sadly, we are not seeing much said about it today on media and too many Americans see it as ancient history even if they know what this day represents.

Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - Wanda Can! I should have known that this was the anniversary of "D" day, but it slipped my mind.  So thank you for the reminder.

Wanda- I'm so happy that you posted about D-Day. I can remember when I was growing up, the news carried segments about D-Day. 

Thank you Wanda for remembering. I posted about D-Day today as well. A recollection from a member of the "greatest generation". Jeff

I hope that all veterans will be treated with the respect that they deserve.  I wish the government delivered upon all of the promises that were made during the recruitment phase of the process.
