61st Wedding Anniversary for Roy and Dolores Kelley

Our wedding took place on June 12, 1965 at the Cradock Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia. I have been very lucky to have the best wife in the world.

Approximately 1% to 2% of all marriages last 61 years or longer. 
Data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Center for Family & Marriage Research (NCFMR) indicates that only about 2% of currently married individuals have crossed the 60-year milestone. Because a 61st anniversary requires outlasting both divorce and mortality for an additional year, the percentage shrinks slightly further.
