Art of Stage Combat

This camp is aimed at teaching a stage combat lesson. We will outline safety elements when teaching stage combat and suggest warm-ups and activities that promote safety, trust, and eye contact. It teaches the 6 basic moves: punch, slap, hair/ear pull, strangle, kick to the stomach, and lastly, kick to the head. This is for guys 13 - 18 years old only and will encourage safe and fun physical acting, which will help build skills that can be used in many other areas of acting too! The church has a theater group that has really grown Nina Hollander, Broker and I have been to many of the plays. They are really good, and I am sure that these workshops have a lot to do with it.
