This sounds like a wonderful and unique workshop series, Mr. Roy! Learning traditional Japanese dyeing techniques while creating a custom scarf or bandana is a fantastic hands-on way to spend a summer day. Sligo Avenue Neighborhood Park is a great setting for it, too. Thank you for sharing this excellent Montgomery County event and your beautiful orchid photo!

Hmm, that sounds like an interesting class.  I would want to know if the dye was toxic and whether or not it would bleed in the wash, haha.  I learned the hard way about bleeding my freshman year of college, when I first did my own laundry, haha.
