Friday Fun…Are You Flying?

 

When we were running an errand, we saw these beautiful flags. Of course, I thought of Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 and Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho , who have shared their flag photos and, hopefully, encouraged us to see the beauty in our flag. You can see Ed's weekly Friday FLags each week.

 

 

We proudly fly ours in front of the house. As a school fundraiser, flags are placed in front of participating homes in our area. I love driving through the neighborhood and down our street when they’re all out.

 

 

 

So, for our Friday Fun…a question for you:

Are you flying a US Flag in your yard or where you work?

Kathy Streib  the answer to you question is , yes I do have a flag proudly displayed on our house and I do smile when I see neighbors doing the same.

Good morning, Kathy... I work where I live so just one flag here. I live in a neighborhood where each home has a front porch and I'd guess that at least 50% of our homes fly an American flag.

Good morning Kathy. We live in a townhome with some of the weirdest restrictions known to mankind governed by true condo commandos. The said at certain times of the year many display a flag against the rules. We did so on Memorial Day and will do so again on the Fourth of July and Labor Day. Enjoy your flags!

Yes indeed. We almost always have a flag flying at our home - we just took it down because the pole was too short (it's on a tree) and was getting stuck on the trunk. We're going to be replacing it soon.

Kat Palmiotti  for our first home in Delray Beach, we put up a BIG flagpole!!!  Now ours is on a tree and we have a solar light shining on it at night.

No, many of our neighbors have flags, but we have not put one up due to the very strong winds we have, we have seen many of our neighbors flags tear or rip out of the holder.
