Flag Day 2026

In honor of Flag Day on our country's 250th anniversary I purchased a new commemorative flag to fly over the Timm household. I think it looks darn good, what do you think Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 (Ed is the official AR flag man)

I am very proud of our country and those who have served under the flag of the USA for the last 250 years as well as those who serve it today.

When I was young the saying was: America, love it or leave it. I wish the majority of people today still thought that way. America, if you don't love it... give Iran a try.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Timmothy has never repeated a joke/comic strip in the 12 years he has been writing it. He has never copied another strip, such as Peanuts or Garfield. You can follow Timmothy on FB as Titus & Philemon and you can also check him out on Instagram as Instagram.com/titus and philemon/ .For Timmothy's website type timmtimmothy.com into your browser. I tried to put it in a link here but it refuses to work. Do NOT put anything in front of timmtimmothy.com or it will not work.

Yes the Grand Ole Flag waves to remind us of our history, those who gave their lives to protecting this Republic.  My husband flew our Gadsden flag today as well. Every day he raises the US Flag and then lowers it before dark.

Nice. I love that flag. Our schools have done a terrible job of educating our children, but they have done a pretty good job of getting them to hate America.

Many loud mouths who have the right to hate here would learn about the freedom to speak over there quickly. Those who prefer stoning to freedom should give it a try. Enjoy your day.
