Friday Flags: A Golf Trip with a Bonus
Our Wednesday morning senior golf league is rather large and to keep enthusiasm going, they schedule a once a month away day to play on a different course. The course, this week was in Simsbury CT on a course that offers many challenges.
After parking, I went towards the clubhouse, and there was a sight that just needed further appreciation.

While I was happy to see a fully extended flag, I also had reservations as to what the wind would do to the golf ball. Where I had issues was on judging the speed of the greens, as more than a few putts came up short.
The first tee also had a bonus, possibly in recognition o the Flag Day event the previous day.
All the flower beds were immaculate and also adorned with flags so at the very least the smiles were there in spite of the score.
