Happy Father's Day to all fathers.  I started celebrating Father's Day yesterday with my youngest son who came up for the weekend from Manassas, VA.  We played 9 holes of golf in the morning and then got some 2" thick filet mignons, huge bake potatoes, and corn on the cob for dinner.  He loves to cook so he did the grilling while I sat back and watched. 

Today started with going to church, followed by FaceTime with my oldest son, and gorgeous granddaughter who are out in Bonney Lake, WA.  It is not the same as all of us being together, but it has been a very special day!!!

I hope the rest of the fathers reading this blog get to spend their Father's Day in their own special way.  Enjoy it and appreciate the blessings you are so fortunate to have.

Good morning George. Amazing how FaceTime and Zoom have changed how we can celebrate Father's Day. Then again nothing like having your son grilling a 2" thick filet. You managed the best of both world's in one day. Delighted you were able.

George, it sounds like you had an absolutely perfect Father's Day weekend!

There is nothing better than hitting the golf course in the morning, followed by a thick filet mignon grilled to perfection—especially when you get to sit back, relax, and watch your son do the cooking!

While it's never quite the same as having the whole family under one roof, thank goodness for FaceTime so you could still share the day with your oldest son and beautiful granddaughter out in Washington. It truly is the little moments and these wonderful connections that make the day so special.
