I always enjoy participating in the monthly #ActiveRainChallenge. I am grateful that Kathy Streib and Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Real Estate Svcs. are hosting this month's challenge. The USA is going to celebrate mightily in its 250th year, so this is such an appropriate challenge, and I really look forward to hearing the stories from everyone.

I was not born in America, but I guess at the same time I kind of was, haha. My Dad was stationed in England with the Air Force, so I have been told that, technically, since it was a US Air Force base, it was technically America, haha. I have never known anything but America, though, since I was a baby when my Dad was discharged from the Air Force, and we came back to the USA. I don't recall anything from my time in England, but since I was born there, I have dual citizenship, which is pretty cool. I am not quite Nick the Brit, but I have some Brit in me, I guess, haha.
I have never known anything other than America, so I don't really have anything to compare to, but I feel that we have more freedom here than people in other places. I have always lived in Arizona, at least since I was like 4 years old, so that seems like always to me, haha. There is so much that I love about Arizona: the weather, the proximity to the beach without the cost of living near the beach, the natural beauty of the desert, and the fact that most of my family still lives nearby.
That's my story, and I really look forward to hearing the stories of others in the Rain!
I specialize in the East Valley of the Phoenix Metro area - Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Apache Junction, and Gold Canyon
