If man must die to make others free, then this is our purpose. Let it be written they say that it is our gift to those that come after, that we give it freely & without hesitation & if this great sacrifice visits with future mankind & they respond as we did, then we will know them as well as we know ourselves. Let this baton of liberty & freedom be passed continually, without stopping until God decides to send His new beginnings. What a heritage has been entrusted to us
ITS NOT COMPLEX
There were those for which the trumpet sounded & they answered that call. That's all they know/knew in that moment of truth that was visiting with them. Home, dear ones, that which we/them deem of value might have crossed their minds but only to give them resolve & courage to finish what was started.
OTHERS LIVE ON
That's the gifting! People I do not even know or can fathom except for the fact they were my like kind, gave until they could give no more & no more was required to be given. In other words, they gave all they had. 100% We received it
YOU ARE LIVING THAT GIFT
Take a moment when coming & going, to notice & realize all you see, feel & expect from your day, that you are experiencing, whatever that is. A BBQ, the company of others, the pleasures of life, the wonder of being alive literally to behold all this
IT WAS NO ACCIDENT
If those circumstances back then were to visit with you right now, today, it would be the same dynamics, choices followed by sacrifices necessary to answer such a calling. That is what todays military lives with & is built upon. Should the call go out, they stand ready to do what must be done for their sakes & for yours too
YOU ARE LIVING THEIR GIFTING
Even if we are at peace in our moment of being, those that stand guard allow us to sleep without hesitation that the job of protecting the country never ceases whether you are aware of it or not. That is gift of the highest order called AMERICA
OUR ADVERSARIES DON'T GET IT
They wonder what motivates us to fight? Money, power or fame as they have come to believe & live or something so great they cannot fathom it, but would know it & love it should they see it & live it. They don't love their country or duty
WHY IS THAT
They don't have the freedoms, abundance, opportunities, & pleasures afforded to them but instead, fears & being worse off, should they disobey commands. There is no love of something greater for them thus the motivation & rewards operate at very low level driven by fears put upon them, that should not exist but do
AMERICANS ALL
To those who obviously left their imprint, their mark that made a difference based on we wouldn't be here if they did not, I believe nothing but the best of you based on results. To those today who hold this high sacred honor & position of preserving the American way, I admire your courage & duty often without words but with respect at all times
