The FIVE Appeals of Your House
When you decide to sell your home, you’ll make every effort to prepare your home so that it APPEALS to the widest range of buyers who will walk through your door.
So, what does that mean? Is it clean? It has new appliances?? Is it in a good neighborhood?

There are FIVE “Appeals” of your home…
Location APPEAL: Your home could be close to schools, to work, to many amenities. The appeal of your location will be different for everyone. It is also something over which you have no control.
Curb APPEAL: Buyers will be making up their minds as they approach your house. Drive through your area and take a look at your competition. Are your shrubs trimmed? Do your sidewalks need pressure washing? Are there inviting flowers to welcome someone at the front door? You want your buyers wanting to like your property before they even set foot inside the door.
Condition APPEAL: This is where you’ll have the opportunity to insure the investment you have in your house. The perceived value of your house is greatly impacted by its condition.
Buyers have calculators in their heads as they walk from room to room. New Paint? Put that in the “This is going to cost me column!” Appliances need to be replaced…cracks in the tile…worn carpeting…these all add up in the eyes of the buyer.

Interior APPEAL: This is where you help buyers see all of the possibilities your house has to offer. You do that by editing your extras and showing off the focal point of each room.
Price APPEAL: A well-priced home that reflects its location, condition, and livability is a winner. One of the smartest decisions you can make is to work with the best local real estate agent you can find.
How APPEALING is your home?
