On July 1, 2026, Realtor.com reported the active listing inventory of homes in the Midwest gained 7.3% in June of 2026 from June of 2025; while new listed homes grew 1.0% in June of 2026 from June of 2025. The median list price of a home unchanged 0.0% in June of 2026 from June of 2025, and houses stayed 2 days less in the market in June of 2026, from June of 2025 in the Midwest.

The active listing inventory of homes in the Northeast rose 8.5% in June of 2026 from June of 2025; while new listed homes jumped 12.6% in June of 2026 from June of 2025. The median list price of a home down 1.0% in June of 2026 from June of 2025, and houses stayed 3 days more in the market in June of 2026, from June of 2025 in the Northeast.

The active listing inventory of homes in the South declined 0.1% in June of 2026 from June of 2025; while new listed homes up 0.4% in June of 2026 from June of 2025. The median list price of a home dropped 2.5% in June of 2026 from June of 2025, and houses stayed 0 days unchanged in the market in June of 2026, from June of 2025 in the South.

The active listing inventory of homes in the West higher 0.3% in June of 2026 from June of 2025; while new listed homes lower 0.8% in June of 2026 from June of 2025. The median list price of a home decreased 4.0% in June of 2026 from June of 2025, and houses stayed 2 days more in the market in June of 2026, from June of 2025 in the West.
