Last year I had a wonderful shot of an unusual dragonfly perched on the casing of my garage door. Yesterday I spotted "Snagglepuss". Another unique dragonfly.
I named him/her Snagglepuss because the markings on his head reminded me of a cat. He may look more like Garfield than Snagglepus but that was the first cat name that came to mind. Another unique thing about this dragon fly is that no matter how I focused on it, it's wings remained totally transparent. Eventually I got to close and it flew away.
A note of interest: Being I didn't remember much about the cartoon (Snagglepuss) I looked it up. He was a "filler" cartoon on The Quick Draw McGraw Show, 1959 and on. It seems the LBGT+ crowd is making a big thing today about him being gay because of his voice. I highly doubt that his creator, Daws Butler, thought of him as anything but male in 1959... and who the heck cares? That being said I will now "Exit stage left" (Snagglepuss's famous line).
