The North Dakota State Fair starts TODAY and the State Fair parade will run tomorrow morning. The parade is huge, typically with over 300 entries. I've done many posts on the fair and the parade in the past. You can expect more throughout this week. See you there!

No smoke problems this year Wayne Martin , the current situation is all going East by Southeast of us. Tina drove here yesterday and she said the worst was around Duluth.
I really like watermelon, but I don't eat it very often at all. I definitely eat more of it during the summer months here, haha.

Is it me, or do seedless watermelons have far less taste than the seeded melons we grew up with? I feel like apples and watermelons have not improved with time.

During the summers of 25 and 26 we wondered if we would ever have a healthy summer again Roy Kelley but this year has had excellent air quality. The smoke you have is coming down through Eastern MN from Canada. I wonder if Canada has any trees left?
