Big Summer Colors in the Yard
Spring brings in the abundance of colors and once the heat of summer arrives, there are less colors available. The day lilies are brief yet colorful. With the excessive heat we have experienced and recently the harsh are form the western fires, one seeks some color when they can.
We have a wall of hydrangeas that front our utility shed. With some care with acidic fertilizer and an occasional watering, they reward us with their deep blue flowers.
They will keep us in color for at least another month, and the flowers are so large that one can't help but smile.
