The National Military Monument - Honoring Those Who Served!

Nina Hollander, Broker - His wish before he died was to go to D.C. to pay tribute to the Veterans of the Vietnam War. He didn't get a chance. That first spring after he died, I took an Amtrack Train with my kids when they were on Spring Break to honor his wishes in D.C. 

But this new Monument was a complete surprise to me! I was thankful my sister contacted me and gave me the website. I felt humbled and proud. He was the first and only man in my life. To think, 41 million names of men and women who served will be or are already on the Monument by the reflective water by the Lincoln Memorial. They all deserve to be honored by loved ones and by people who didn't know them. 

Patricia Feager I've seen my share of war monuments all over the world. The only one that has ever made me cry was the Viet Nam Memorial... and I've cried each time I've been there. 

Brian England - Thank you. I am honored and proud of his services. To think, I was just a girl, 16 years old who wrote him letters as a pen pal until he was honorably discharged. Then we were married and had children.
