Tuesday’s Treasures…Chocolate Chip Cookies!
There is nothing I wouldn’t share with my friends and loved ones…except for my last homemade chocolate chip cookie.
When I was growing up, these wonderful vessels for chocolate chips were always in our cookie jar. Often, I could catch their wonderful scent when I walked in the kitchen after school.
Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! In my opinion, the best chocolate chip cookies are homemade. I can pass on the brand-name store-bought chocolate chip cookies. And I’ve tried some from local bakeries, and while they’re not bad, they’re still wasted calories for me.
