The Annual Taste of Carlsbad Village returns in 2026 on October 8th.

First of all, the Taste of Carlsbad Village is very popular, and typically sells out quickly every year. Second, tickets go on sale September 4th at 9 am. You will want to put that on your calendar with an alert if you want to attend
So what can you expect at the Taste of Carlsbad Village?
Carlsbad foodies get to spend 3 hours on Thursday October 8th from 5 to 8 pm on a self-guided tour with map and Passport (the ticket), tasting their way around our charming Carlsbad Village. So why is the Taste of Carlsbad such a big deal? It’s an opportunity to enjoy delicious bite-sized samples from dozens of local popular restaurants in the Village. You’ll also get to enjoy live music.
The Taste of Carlsbad Village is a good time to check out restaurants you don’t know or haven’t tried, as well as to enjoy your favorites, too! Here’s a list of participating restaurants as of August 4 and more may be added.
Passport Food Only Tickets are $55, and Passport Tickets Plus Adult Sip Stops are $70. The 100 VIP experience tickets are $120 (which includes the Food and Sip Stops plus swag and other perks including a private champagne reception beginning at 4 pm). Only 1000 tickets are being sold.
Adult Sip Stops will be hosted in retail locations around the Village. The Sips Stops offer tastings of craft beer, wine, hard kombucha, hard seltzers, and more (must be 21 and over).
Non-alcoholic beverages plus a water-filling station will be available throughout the evening.
Parking is free in Carlsbad Village, a big plus. But you’ll want to arrive early to find the best parking given the popularity of this food event.
