You know I like to keep my blog posts short BUT if I wanted to go long this would be a good one to re-hash how important it is to keep your home fresh.
Odors can cost you offers and even if someone is not totally turned off they make a low-ball offer considering it may take a professional cleaning service to make things right.
The most costly odors include pet, mold/mildew, and cooking odors.
While many Realtors feel it is totally taboo to look into a Sellers refrigerator I don't... especially if the fridge conveys with the sale of the house. A stinky fridge with moldy foods in it tells me something.
Some people don't know their house stinks. A good test is to close up the house for a 3 day weekend. When you re-enter your home if you smell anything then rest assured others smell it as well and maybe even more so.
