Ever wonder how a municipal project like a park or new housing development gets from point A to Z? Or, how decisions about public safety or recreation programs come to life?
If you’re curious about the inner workings of local government and want to play a role in shaping your community, the Gaithersburg Municipal Academy is calling your name. Over the course of seven weeks, step behind the scenes and meet the people who keep Gaithersburg running smoothly. Discover how every City department – from Police to Public Works, Finance to Planning, Human Resources to Information Technology, Parks, Recreation and Culture and more – works together to create a safe, vibrant, and well-managed community.
The application period opens on August 17 and closes on September 7.
