We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.”
— Joseph Campbell
Life is filled with beginnings and endings, but so much of life happens in the space in between.
We grow. We change. We meet challenges, build relationships, discover new interests and find opportunities that can take us in directions we never expected.
And sometimes, we get stalled because we're holding on too tightly to the life we thought we were supposed to have.
Letting go isn't always easy. We may have invested years, hopes and dreams into a particular path. But sometimes the very thing we're reluctant to release is what keeps us from seeing what could come next.
Life brings us new seasons, and with them, new possibilities. Sometimes we must close one chapter, not because it wasn't meaningful, but because there is another chapter waiting to be written.
I've learned that when we finally loosen our grip on what was, something remarkable can happen: we make room for what might be.
And sometimes, what we embrace next is even better than what we had planned.
Monday Lesson: Don't be afraid to let go of what was supposed to be. You may be making room for something you never knew was possible.
What might you be ready to let go of today so you can make room for what’s waiting for you?
Until next Monday...
Keep learning, keep growing, and Be the Difference.
