Yes, most definitely blessed with abundance, Kathy Streib! Today, I made Tomato Basil Soup and more Basil Pesto for future meals. Mike has lost 22 lbs. and I have taken off 11 lbs. Eating fresh is definitely best whenever possible!
Meanwhile the seeds I bought over the last two years to plant at our new place continue to be stashed in our basement because I keep thinking "we'll be done any time now, so don't plant anything in Ohio". Surely next Spring I'll be able to start a few things at our new place. Maybe I'll start small with just some containers while we get settled in.

Nerdin Gardens is filled with so much beauty and deliciousness! Along with the fish that Mr. Master Baiter brings home, you have such fine meals!

Thankfully, they will patiently wait for your schedule to free them up, until planted. I have started saving seeds from non-Gmo plants. They make the difference with more yield and less pests and/or disease, Liz and Bill Spear. Wishing you both the best in getting finished with the construction, so you can move on/move in!

All the seeds we bought are heirloom varieties. Amazing for instance just how many tomato iterations are available.
We've found the variety and price per pack on MIGardener.com to be fantastic.
Thanks for appreciating Nerdin Gardens, Nina Hollander, Broker, I can keep posting pics for sure!

We do eat well, Brian England, that is true. Part of the enjoyment is sharing in the work that brings good things to our table!

as soon as I get enough zucchini squash, I’m going to make homemade split pea soup again with peas grown in our garden. if we lived closer, I’d share, George Souto!
Wanda, you make gardening sound as wonderful as it actually feels! There truly is something special about the scent of tomato leaves, the first blooms, the birds singing and, of course, finally tasting something you’ve grown yourself. Gardening truly does engage every one of our senses—and somehow feeds the soul right along with the gardener! Beautifully said. ❤️
Nothing better than fresh vegetables grown at home picked just minutes before eating. So fresh and good!
