During Tuesday's AR Zoom meeting a light went on to help me convey a message I've been trying to tell my son in regards to his cartooning.
The cartoon above is typical of every one of the cartoons he has written daily for 13 years. The guinea pigs (Titus & Philemon) are always standing in a profile position.
So I asked AI
"In the attached cartoon there are two small critters that represent guinea pigs. Create a 3 dimensional likeness of the guinea pigs so that they may be viewed from any angle. Keep the basic shape of the guinea pigs as they are." And the result was:

Next I asked:
Draw me an image of these guinea pigs looking down from a tabletop at an ant. And the result was:

I also learned that I was lucky that I had asked for a 3 dimensional likeness of the guinea pigs BECAUSE I later asked for an "animation" of the strip and GEMINI told me "no can do unless I purchase animation software".
This is something mentioned over and over in our ZOOM meetings: Be specific about what you want when talking to AI and you may need to refine it and refine it over and over again.
Now I'm psyched up to try more AI with Titus & Philemon. One obvious problem with the images is if you ever owned guinea pigs you know they are NOT wooly, they have hair BUT the images sure are cute aren't they?
