There is nothing quite like the feeling of serving the community we call home. Over the past few years, I have had the unique privilege of volunteering as a ballot issuer and EViD operator during our local elections. It is an incredible way to see our civic process in action and connect with neighbors from all over the area.
Right now, Escambia County needs more dedicated election workers to help keep our polling locations running smoothly. Whether you are passionate about local government or just looking for a new way to give back to Northwest Florida, stepping up as a poll worker is a fantastic opportunity. It takes a strong, community-driven team to ensure everyone has a seamless experience at the polls.
If you have ever considered getting involved, I highly encourage you to check it out! For all the details on qualifications, necessary training, and how to submit your application, please visit the official Election Worker Information page through the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections.
Let’s continue working together to make Escambia County a wonderful place to live and thrive!
