The trip we did not take....

Twenty-five years ago, my wife and I eagerly planned a trip to Washington DC for September 12, 2001, excited to explore history and make memories. But the morning of September 11th changed everything. As news of the attacks spread, our plans dissolved into shock and fear. The city we longed to visit became a symbol of tragedy, and our hopes were momentarily shattered. We stayed home, holding each other close, feeling helpless. That trip was never rescheduled, yet the memory of that day forever shaped us. Instead of sightseeing, we found a deeper appreciation for safety, resilience, and the unpredictable course of life.

WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE WORLD STOPPED TURNING, ON THAT SEPTEMBER DAY, TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY?

Out here every 9.11 we assist in installing almost 3000 American Flags called the Healing Fields.
