Our Mission is “NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!” We are an organization that builds and delivers beds to children in need of a bed and a safe place to sleep
We build and deliver beds for kids sleeping on the floor with a mattress, a pillow, and linen. At no cost to the family,
Here in Frederick County, Md. we have delivered over 3300 twin size beds, and build on the order of 40 beds a month and we learn of more each month,
I have been involved with them for over 6 years and enjoy giving my time and efforts to the cause.
You show up for a build and we find something you can meaningfully do. I personal showed up in a wheel chair at one build. When asked why I was there, I reminded them - show and we will find something for you to do. Well, in quick order I was wheeled up to a table setup for me. At this table I spent the time putting washer on screws used hold bed ends to running boards. We need 8 of these for each bed, two more if it is the top of twin bed - meaningful work.

This coming Sept 12, 2026 9Am to Noon, we will be out a LOWES on Buckeystown Pike in Fredrick, Md. for our chapters participation in SHP, Bucks Across America event.
