The winners started their spending by completely clearing the debt of a local nursing home. They quickly followed that up with a £343,000 donation to get a 'Housing for All' scheme off the ground.

The family has footed the bill for the school's cafeteria ever since their win, spending £69,000 to upgrade the facilities so all 180 pupils can buy a nutritious meal every day for just £1.29.
Mayor Fabienne Godichaud says the winners could have easily chosen not to share a penny of their wealth with their fellow citizens. She praised the family for providing a wonderful lesson in civic responsibility to the whole community. 
One local mum left a heartfelt message at the town hall, writing: "I explained to my children the beauty of your gesture and the fact that such generosity is the mark of people with huge hearts."
Despite transforming the area, the modest family has opted to stay entirely out of the spotlight. They maintain the exact same everyday routines they followed before striking it rich, and their identities remain a total secret.
